ERE-383 #5 for Joe Pike's show-and-go wagon
UPDATE Nov. 21st, 2006 Install into my DGGM for street testing.

Rolled ERE#5 out to my concrete pad and take a few more photos.

I always install the passenger side headers prior to installing the motor.  That ATI flexplate is the best on earth.

Be very careful to not scratch or mar anything. The motor is on the mounts without giving me too much grief. After loading in a fresh PCM tune from Bryan Herter I'll turn the key and start it up.

Lots of chrome.

I also verify that the motor mounts are on the correct side of the engine.  Too many times I've had them installed incorrectly and wasted lots of time.

Yea I have a very disorganized engine bay, but I can pull and engine in 2 hours and install one in 4.  One day I plan to tidy up the wiring.  I started up the motor shortly after installing the water pump and radiator.  A few bugs: DTC #43, (knock sensor circuit) and a leaking chrome water pump.  The engine runs very well besides that.  Will troubleshoot and fix leaks tomorrow and then get some street miles on the motor.
